Great post. In covering the release of the iPhone 5, Foxconn and Tim Cook are both interesting topics. It is amazing to think that every time Apple does something I immediately think “Would Jobs have done that?” Or “Do you think Jobs approves of that move?”

One man had such an impact on the world. Most of what he left behind is still under his control in one way or another!

I wish I could like this twice. As a family of progressives living in Texas, we do tend to feel we stand out at times. If I might offer one addition; there are some countries to where if a single mother, making below a certain income level, can prove that she is maintaining a full time job then the state will let her drop her child off at a state-funded daycare. All this to be sure that she is able to keep working. If she’s working, she’s paying incoming tax and she’s not “living off the system”. Also a daycare is probably cheaper to run than an unemployment program.
