A Harvard law professor opines that the U.S. Constitution disqualifies Ted Cruz for the presidency. He is not a “natural born citizen,” a fundamental requirement for anyone aspiring to be president.
In short, both textualism and originalism cut strongly against Cruz being a natural-born citizen.
Despite Cruz’s reverence of the Constitution, I doubt that he or his supporters will heed the professor’s judgment. There are just too many people to be killed.
